Justin Evans
I can think of no greater pleasure
than to believe night will be our last
perception of this earth before we die―
a black so deep it can spell your name
without a tongue; stars so numerous and
divine they render time irrelevant.
Justin Evans was born and raised in Utah. He currently lives in rural Nevada with his wife and sons, where he teaches at a local high school. He is the author of several chapbooks and full-length books of poetry, the most recent being, All the Brilliant Ideas I've Ever Had (Aldrich Press, 2020). He has poetry forthcoming in the Sugar House Review. He is a 2022 recipient of an Artist Fellowship from the Nevada Arts Council.
